I preach all the time how vital it is to surround yourself with supportive, like-minded women to act as your sounding board, your cheerleaders, and your support system during your life changes. This group of four Mighty Women is all of that and more to me. That’s why in episode 40 of The Jen Marples Show, I am interviewing the ladies of my own Mighty Women Accountability Group!
In this episode of The Jen Marples Show, I’m sharing the importance of having a consistent and meaningful group of women in your life and making a commitment not only to yourself, but to that community to show up and support one another.
Some of the talking points my accountability group and I go over in this episode include:
Some of the challenges they have faced while pivoting into a new career while self-reflecting, accepting it is OK to not have a plan, and the necessity of putting yourself first,
The biggest challenges women face at mid-life are likely the challenges they had all along, now just without the distractions of taking care of younger kids.
Caring for your aging parents while ensuring the primary caregiver feels supported and cared for as well.
Our best pieces of advice for women looking to make a change or get back into the workforce.
Now more than ever, having a support group or being part of a community is essential to our happiness.
Stay curious and follow what lights you up.
