The Jen Marples Show episode 148 is here! Today is a quickie with an update on my Women of Impact event on January 23 in the Bay Area, exciting news about the podcast, and some thoughts on honoring what season you’re in right now.
Roll with me as I stumble through a sports analogy on how we need to be mindful of where we are in life right now: pre-season, season, post-season, pre/pre-season.
I don’t think our productivity is tied to the actual seasons – I’m sure back in the day, they were! I’m bringing some awareness around how we need to pace ourselves to avoid both burnout and getting stalled.
It’s a quick thought experiment that I think you’ll find valuable as you are undoubtedly looking at the year ahead, planning, forecasting, dreaming, and all the things we do once the ball drops on a new year.
Happy New Year! If you’re in the Bay Area, I hope to see you on January 23 at Women of Impact, the link is HERE to register!
